Hi, you have received an SMS from us due to the fact that we have restored your code to your voicemail. The code is needed when you want to listen to your voicemail by calling + 46 708 222888 (for example from abroad or for some other reason can not call 888 from your mobile). If you usually use your voice mailbox code, you will need to select a new code by calling 888.
The background to this is that Allo has drawn attention to an incident where outsiders may have gained improper access to your voicemail through a so-called bot attack. Allotardet occurred in all seriousness and has taken several measures to prevent similar things from happening again. The incident was reported to PTS (the Swedish Post and Telecom Agency) on 2021-03-22 with case number 21–2822. We continue to investigate the incident.

What has happened?
Allo has drawn attention to an incident where outsiders have exposed our customers to attempts to gain access to voicemails through so-called bot attacks.
What personal information does this apply to?
If outsiders have improperly gained access to your voicemail, there may be potential eavesdropping on your voicemail. Therefore, for proactive security purposes, we have changed the code to your voicemail. We urge you as a customer to always consider whether you yourself need to take further action based on what has happened.
What do you need to do?
If you usually use your code for the voicemail (for example by calling +46 708 222888 from abroad or for some other reason can not call 888 from your mobile) you must choose a new code. To select a new code, dial 888, select option 3 for settings and option 4 to select a new code. The new code must consist of 6-7 digits.
If you only usually listen to your messages by calling 888 from your mobile in Sweden, you do not need to do anything.

What does Allo do?
We take your security very seriously and have therefore reset the password to your voicemail. You need the password when you want to listen to your voicemail by calling + 46 708 222888 (for example from abroad or for some other reason can not call 888 from your mobile). If you usually call voicemail through 888 from your own number and are in Sweden, you can continue listening to your messages without using the code.
The password to the voicemail has been expanded to 6-7 characters.
We inform all affected customers via text message.
Is your number linked to a Whats App account?
With the help of the voicemail, we have identified a risk that outsiders will try to access accounts on Whatsapp. If your number is linked to a WhatsApp account and you have not activated a two-step verification, we recommend that you do so immediately.
